What Is a Science Show for Kids?
A Science Show is an interactive entertainment experience built around scientific demonstrations and surprising visual effects. Instead of simply watching a performer, children get to experience the excitement of scientific discovery through engaging demonstrations and participation.
At Chicago Bubble Show, our Mad Science Show features dry ice experiments, liquid nitrogen demonstrations, smoke effects, freezing experiments, bubbling reactions, and other exciting science activities.
The program is designed for children ages 3 and up and can be a fun choice for families who want to introduce a science theme to a birthday party or children’s event.

What Happens During Our Science Show?
Every science-themed celebration has its own atmosphere, but the goal is to make science exciting and accessible through visual demonstrations and interactive moments.
Dry Ice Experiments and Smoke Effects
Dry ice creates dramatic visual effects that immediately capture children’s attention. During the show, guests can see smoke effects and bubbling reactions as part of the science demonstrations.
These moments bring an element of surprise to the party and encourage children to wonder about the science behind what they see.
Liquid Nitrogen Demonstrations
Our Standard and VIP Science Show packages include liquid nitrogen demonstrations. These freezing effects add another fascinating element to the experience and give children an opportunity to observe surprising scientific reactions.
Interactive Science Activities
The show is designed to be more than a demonstration from a distance. Children have opportunities to participate in interactive activities and experience the excitement of discovery as the program unfolds.
For families planning a birthday party in New Lenox, this format offers an alternative to traditional party entertainment while keeping the celebration centered around curiosity, experimentation, and fun.
Add a Slime Workshop to Your Science Birthday Party
Slime is a popular choice for children who enjoy creative, hands-on activities. If your child loves mixing, experimenting, and making something of their own, adding a slime activity can give the party a second dimension.
Our VIP Science Lab Experience already combines the full Science Show with a Slime Workshop, with materials provided.
This combination brings together two different kinds of excitement: watching dramatic science demonstrations and participating in a creative activity.
If you’re comparing a Science Show with a separate Slime Party, Chicago Bubble Show also offers a dedicated Slime Party service. Ask about available combinations when planning your celebration in New Lenox.
